The Richard M. Keane Foundation’s annual 5K Walk/Run (sponsored by Stop and Shop) will be held at Standish Park in Old Wethersfield, May 31, 2009; gun start at 11:00 am.

Take I-91 to Exit 26 /Old Wethersfield. Follow signs to Department of Motor Vehicles/ Standish Park.

This certified, flat-track course begins on Garden Street along Standish Park (near the DMV) and follows Garden Street, taking the participants through beautiful Old Wethersfield, twice circling the Broad Street Green then back up Garden Street to Standish Park.

A new, special element, officially added this year, will be a Middle School Competition. A special trophy will be presented to the Middle School with the best overall team time.

Pre-Registration is $10 (post marked by May 25, 2009). Race Day Registration is $15. Children 10 and under are $5. Registration will be 9-10:30 AM in Hanmer School Gym. Download and complete the registration form and please mail it with your check to:
